On Monday, we had our longest day with a nine mile hike. The highlight of the day was Banister Ruin. The main building was above with a banister and below was a full, round Kiva with the entrance throught the roof. Kivas were where the Puebloan natives held religious ceremonies. We camped at the mouth of Pollys Canyon.
