I visited my Mom in California. I had time for a few short hikes in the East Bay Hills. There is the Redwood Regional Park with some large Redwood Trees. Anthony Chabot Park has a lake. The Huckleberry Botanic Preserve has a rare community of native plants, and the Sibley Volcanic Preserve has igneous geology and far-reaching views.
