I was back at the East Portal today on a mountain club ski trip. We climbed the Forest Lake Trail and before lunch we decided to start a very steep climb in deep snow to the lake. We turned around because it was too difficult. It was a fun, fast ski trip down and I crashed several times. It was a beautiful day.
